Llanspyddid Church Bell Cote

Looking East

The Bell - There are no visible inscriptions on this bell and it probably dates from the second half of the 19th century.

Information sourched from 'The Church Bells of Breconshire' by John C. Eisel.

Looking West West Side of Bell Cote - As you can see there is only a single bell hanging in the north aperture of this double west cote.
East Wall Window

East Side of Bell Cote - When the church was re-roofed in 1870, this new Bell Cote was provided.

It had been recorded that 'The lack of ropes was presented in 1700, implying more than one bell, while in 1709 it was presented...the bell broken and a new one wanting.'
